It looks like a nice scale – is the fact that it is stainless steel better for the kitchen? Why do you use a timer on a scale though as I would assume that you would measure an item and then just use it? I keep meaning to get a kitchen scale as usually i just guess quantities and that leads to some strange outcomes.
Thank you for your concern. Stainless steel is easier to clean and durable. Personally I don’t used the timer on a scale, when I put my item on a scale, because it is a digital, it’s just gave me the total amount.
Thanks for the review of this Gdealer digital food scale. I do a lot of cooking at my house and in my profession. One tool I do not have is a scale. Besides baking, what other uses do you primarily have for a scale?

Hi Ryan, answer is No, the timer is not the main use. The scale have a timer and temperature but me personally I do not use them. I’m so happy using the scale itself for measuring things.
I like stainless steel kitchen tools. I might consider to get such a scale as my old plastic one is near its end – and it is not correctly weighing at all. What I like with this one is that you can work in it, too, and not only weigh the ingredients. I cannot do that with my square and small present one – and actually I had never thought that there are products out there which can serve for both purposes.
